The ground flyer from the aircraft manufacturer
Designer Fritz Fendt finds a willing partner in Messerschmitt for the production of his Cabin Scooter. The former aircraft manufacturer is now subject to Allied restrictions and is looking for a new business field. Their paths separate again in 1957, when Messerschmitt is allowed to build aircraft again. Cabin Scooters continue to be built up to 1964 by FMR, and are one of the most successful vehicles of their kind.

Quote from the operating instructions:
„Entering and exiting the cabin scooter is a little different from what you are used to with other vehicles. (...) Now take your seat as follows:

Swivel the seat upwards / Move the steering wheel slightly to the right / Place your right foot in the centre of the vehicle / Sit down / Insert your left foot / Set both feet to the front / Only now should you support yourself with both hands on the sloping side frames and allow the seat to slide forwards.“

Der Bodenflieger vom Flugzeugbauer
Konstrukteur Fritz Fendt findet in Messerschmitt einen willigen Partner, um seinen Kabinenroller zu produzieren. Der ehemalige Flugzeughersteller unterliegt den alliierten Auflagen und sucht ein neues Betätigungsfeld. Ab 1957 trennen sich die Wege, als Messerschmitt wieder Flugzeuge bauen darf. Der Kabinenroller wird bis 1964 von FMR weitergebaut und gilt als eines der erfolgreichsten Fahrzeuge seiner Art.

O-Ton Bedienungsanleitung:
„Das Ein- und Aussteigen ist beim Kabinenroller etwas anders, als Sie es bei anderen Fahrzeugen  gewöhnt sind. (...) Nun, wie folgt Platz nehmen:

Sitz hochschwenken / Lenkung leicht nach rechts einschlagen / Rechten Fuss in Fahrzeugmitte setzen / Platz nehmen / Linken Fuss hineinsetzen / Beide Füsse nach vorn setzen / Jetzt erst mit beiden Händen an den schrägen seitlichen Rahmenrohren abstützen und Sitz nach vorne schwenken lassen.“

L’« avion de route » du constructeur aéronautique 
Le constructeur Fritz Fendt trouve en Messerschmitt un partenaire disposé à produire son scooter caréné. L'ancien fabricant d'avions est soumis aux obligations des alliés et cherche un nouveau champ d'activité. Dès 1957, leurs chemins se séparent, car Messerschmitt peut à nouveau fabriquer des avions. Le scooter caréné continue à être fabriqué jusqu'en 1964 par FMR, étant considéré comme l'un des véhicules les plus réussis de son genre.

Tiré mot pour mot du mode d'emploi :
« Entrer et sortir du scooter caréné est un peu différent de ce dont vous avez l'habitude avec d'autres véhicules. (...) Donc, prendre place comme suit :

faire pivoter le siège vers le haut / braquer le guidon légèrement à droite / mettre le pied droit au milieu du véhicule / prendre place / faire rentrer le pied gauche / mettre les deux pieds en avant / et seulement maintenant, s'appuyer sur les deux tubes obliques du cadre et faire pivoter le siège en avant. »

Il mezzo terrestre realizzato dal costruttore di aerei
Il costruttore Fritz Fendt trova in Messerschmitt un partner intenzionato a produrre il suo mezzo cabinato. L’ex costruttore di aerei non naviga in buone acque ed è alla ricerca un nuovo campo di attività. Dal 1957 le loro strade si dividono quando Messerschmitt può nuovamente costruire velivoli. Il mezzo cabinato continua a essere costruito fino al 1964 dalla FMR ed è uno dei mezzi di questo genere a riscuotere un grande successo.

Le istruzioni per salire a bordo
“Salire e scendere da questo mezzo non è semplice, e richiede movimenti diversi rispetto agli altri mezzi. (...) A questo punto, accomodatevi a bordo seguendo questa procedura:

Sollevare il sedile / Piegare leggermente il volante verso destra / Infilare il piede destro al centro del mezzo / Sedersi / Infilare il piede sinistro / Portare entrambi i piedi in avanti / Solo ora è possibile sostenersi con le due mani ai tubi obliqui laterali e spingere in avanti il sedile.”
