Comfortable travelling for goods
This type of freight wagon was specially developed around 1950 for the transport of palletised goods. The sliding walls can be opened and closed by hand. They provide access to nearly half of the loading area for rapid loading and unloading (e.g. with a forklift truck). The sliding walls are locked during the journey. From 1980, the wagons were fitted with load protection partitions. Variants of this wagon have special insulation or a refrigeration unit. Even today, a large number of these wagons are still in use for freight transport throughout Europe. The Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group uses the Hbils as a support wagon.
